The 13th-century Duomo, with Norman and Gothic detail. The façade, mosaics, and interior works reward a short visit.
Corso Umberto Iat the door
Taormina’s main street — and ours. Boutiques, cafés, and restaurants along a pedestrian corso that runs the length of the old town.
Isola Bellacable car + short walk
A small nature reserve just off the coast, reached by a narrow isthmus. Clear water, a pebble beach, and quiet shade inland.
